We are thankful for the foundation and the many donors in our community who give to support our kids. Each winning teacher will be surprised with a check and cheering presenters to mark the occasion. The Education Foundation accepts grant applications annually in the fall from district teachers and staff for the development and implementation of innovative teaching programs within the classroom, which are not otherwise funded by tax dollars.

November 10 , September 8 , May 31 , May 17 , April 7 , A minimum of 90 credits and a minimum grade point average of 2. This Career Pathway Certificate of Completion is completed during the second year and will provide students with the foundation skills required to develop a performance horse for trail, ranch, reining, or rodeo and as an entry level manager or trainee in a horse production business.
This Pathways Certificate will prepare the student for entry level positions in agriculture. The successful student will possess applied skills in ranch animal production and management including nutrition and reproduction. Provides the background to move on to other avenues of the horse world. Stresses livestock handling, sanitation, facility design, quality beef assurance, and personal safety. Includes skills demonstrated by a qualified veterinarian.
Discusses anatomy and physiology of cows, the estrus cycle, and a review of diseases associated with reproduction. Much of the class taught in the "field" under actual ranch conditions.

Lab required 44 hrs, TBA with instructor. Discusses the maintenance and purchase of horse equipment, including bits, bridles, grooming supplies, and saddles. Teaches students to design a breeding program utilizing EPD's and performance data based on different breeding systems used in today's livestock operations.
